Terms of Service

The agreement between you and us. Plain sentences, no surprises, and the one obligation that is genuinely yours is stated in full rather than buried.

Last updated 3 October 2026

The agreement

These Terms govern your use of Jarvey, the AI agent that joins your meetings, together with the site at jarvey.io and everything reachable from it (the Service). The Service is operated by Comind AI, company registration number 1223189, registered at Office 105, Al Ghanin 3 Building, Al Muraqabat, Dubai, UAE. We are not currently VAT registered.

By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you use Jarvey on behalf of a company, our Data Processing Agreement also forms part of these Terms and is already in force. You confirm you have the authority to accept all of it for that company.

What the Service is, and what stage it is at

Jarvey joins a meeting you point it at, listens, answers out loud when somebody says its name, writes a recap when the call ends, keeps a short memory between calls, and can write to a board you connect.

Jarvey is in beta. Features change, and some of them will change in ways you did not ask for. We may add, alter, meter or withdraw a feature, and we may limit usage to keep the Service running for everybody.

Your account

You need an account to use the Service, and you are responsible for what happens under it. Keep your sign-in email secure, and tell us at support@jarvey.io if you believe somebody else has access.

A workspace has an owner and members. The owner controls its settings, its connections and its deletion. Anything you put into a workspace is visible to its other members, and the memory Jarvey keeps is shared across it. A guest invited to a single call sees only that call.

You must be at least 16 years old. If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm you may accept these Terms for it.

Consent to record (read this one)

Jarvey processes what people say in a meeting and writes it down. You are responsible for having the right to bring it into that meeting.

In many jurisdictions every participant must be informed, and in some every participant must consent, before a call is recorded or transcribed. That obligation sits with you, the person who invited Jarvey, and not with us. We have built the Service so that you can meet it: Jarvey joins as a named, visible participant, the host must admit it, and it stays in the participant list for the whole call. Do not defeat that, and do not bring Jarvey into a call where the people in it have not been told.

You are also responsible for having the right to submit any personal data of other people that reaches us through your meetings.

Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to:

We may suspend or close an account that does any of this. Where we can, we will tell you first.

Your content, and ours

Yours stays yours. Your meetings, transcripts, recaps, memory and anything Jarvey writes to your board belong to you. We claim no ownership.

You grant us the licence we need to run the Service for you: to store your content, to process it, and to pass it to the providers named in our Privacy Policy so they can do the part of the work we use them for. That licence exists to operate the product, and it ends when you delete the content.

We do not train models on your content, and we do not permit our providers to.

The Service itself (the software, the design, the name and the mark) is ours. These Terms grant you the right to use it, and nothing more.

What Jarvey says is not advice

Jarvey answers out loud, in a meeting, in real time. It will sometimes be wrong, and it will sometimes be confidently wrong.

Its output is not professional advice: not legal, financial, medical, tax or any other kind. Check anything you are going to act on. You are responsible for what you do with what it says, and for what your colleagues do after hearing it in a room.

Transcription is imperfect. A recap is a summary written by a model, not a minute of record, and it should not be treated as one.

Third parties

Jarvey works by standing between other services. Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, your board, the model providers behind the answer. We are not responsible for what any of them do, for their availability, or for their terms.

When you connect a board, you authorise Jarvey to act on it with the access you granted, and you remain bound by that provider's own agreement with you. You can disconnect at any time.

Payment

The Service is free during the beta. A published plan may be paid later; if it becomes paid, we will say so before you are charged, and continuing to use a paid feature after that is how you accept its price.

When we do charge: payment runs through Stripe, subscriptions renew each period until you cancel, cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you paid for, prices exclude tax unless we say otherwise, and payments are non-refundable except where the law says otherwise.

Availability

We do not promise the Service will be uninterrupted or free of error. It depends on Google Meet, on Zoom, on Microsoft Teams, on model providers, and on the internet between them, and any of those can fail without warning. We may take it down for maintenance.

Ending it

You can stop at any time. The owner of a workspace can delete it from Settings, which deletes its calls, transcripts, memory and connections as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if we are required to, or if we discontinue the Service. If we discontinue it, we will give you reasonable notice and a chance to take your data out.

Disclaimer

To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, or that any answer, transcript or recap will be accurate.

Some places do not allow this exclusion, and in those places it applies only as far as it is allowed.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, neither we nor our suppliers are liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption, however caused.

Our total liability arising out of the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of what you paid us in the twelve months before the event, or one hundred United States dollars. Because the Service is free during the beta, that amount may be zero.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

You cover us

You will indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your use of the Service, your content, your breach of these Terms, and in particular from any claim that a person in one of your meetings was recorded or transcribed without the consent the law required.

Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms. For a material change we will give notice by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that is acceptance. If you do not accept, stop using the Service and delete your workspace.

Governing law

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of them or the Service, are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE, so far as the mandatory law where you live permits. Nothing here removes a consumer right you cannot waive.

If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in force and that part is narrowed to the smallest change that makes it enforceable.
